there have been bugs that mark you in combat for... quite a while even when you're actually fighting nothing, nor using toys

this has happened to me twice this season and im not sure why, its like you click th shield and it dissapears instantly and becomes no longer cliackable
both times i had the food buff that only shows while out of combat so maybe a ui issue in that it used the same action button
you can ahve ghoulash and shield at the same time
i know you can, im saying that it might just be a ui issue in that goulash hides in combat and usually the shield is usable at all times.
Can anyone help give any advice for tanking Balakar Khan, end boss on the Nokhud Offensive? I'm really struggling to gather the adds up before they nail the dps 😦 for context my highest key there is a failed 8
That phase is kinda on the dps do burn and interupt the adds as much as it is on the healer to keep everyone alive - be a VDH/BDK to grip them up, be a VDH to aoe silence - outside of that you can interupt 1 add and shockwave 2, shield charge another. Pray things die fast. Spell reflect the debuff OR the cast in the last phase
i mean there should be 4 inturpts in the group
so everyone should just inturpt 1 and run to the boss
that will gather them up
definitely a boss where everyone should be helping

i use revenge for instant threat in a pack on pull, and only use it again if its free and empowered and nothing else to press
As Dan Said, there are 4 interupts in group so if anyone interupt once and they gather at boss you can disrupting shout for the next interupt or aoe CC.
Or tell your DPS for example 1 mage 1 hunter to Hex and Icetrap 1 side, then you deal with 2 mob first after you gather aggro/kill you can move to the other side.
and yes im one of the few who use barb training and show of force
that initial revenge + the tc hitting harder usually means every mob in range has deep wounds and like 3k instant threat

end of the day you cant solo carry the group on it as a pwar, needs group coordination and that phase just trucks healers - other things you can do is save lust for it, have everyone use their defensives to free up the healer - healers like evoker suffer more due to needing players stacked to heal them instantly
bring an aug to breathh over all 4 of them and 'rescue' thhe healer - healer can still cast during the rescue to kinda hhelps them live
or aug to pop spatial paradox to allow healer to cast while moving
At least we got big reflects so not as much healing needed
mass spell reflect would have been nice, cant wait for TWW and intervene+spell reflect interactions

I was wondering since 15+ has 85% vdhs and the further up you go the higher that % goes. So was just wondering if the queue times would be the same as Arms for example. Since I'm generally averaging around 4 hours.

I feel a tank will always have more value in a group overall. So probably best way forward is that.

I have a fury warrior (e.g. fury gear) with normal tier set and 6 bullions spent (weapons and augury trinket).
I've been tanking our raids and some dungeons and am quite enjoying it, would like to do much more.
Is it less work to just wait and start gearing prot going forward.
I do also have another lvl 70 warrior with s2 gear ; should I gear them up so I have more bullions to spend?

Until they give every other mob in the dungeon a cast or wipe mechanic that can only be normal interrupted, and if you interrupt it they instantly cast the same effect spell, but a different school, so you have to mass cycle interrupts or die. There's also only one GY

One of the important things to know is that if you charge (generally by a mouseover macro) at a target that's off to the side, the game doesn't update your character facing until the end of the charge. So you can charge at a 90 degree angle and still block until you end the charge (at which point you should be out of range anyway)
