People like that I suspect don't find satisfaction in life through there accomplishments so they log on WoW a video game and seek to achieve something they can be proud of, and in doing so forget that the best satisfaction to be found in a game is losing yourself in it, and enjoying the detachment from the worries and stresses of life. As well as the fact that they don't have to tear others down to make themselves feel better, and if that is there goal they should seek solace elsewhere as ruining someone else's enjoyment is never the answer.

Not really apart from the one listed in the pins. The trouble with battle-scarred veteran is it is bugged and will probably gain you less defensive power than you think.
Ravager actually gains you more defensive power than you think by virtue of the rage it provides. More rage = more CDR on shield wall

Like Muse mentioned, giving up ravager is a very big defensive loss, actually. Defensive optimization is usually all about play and rotating your CDs properly.

If you have +speed enchants, and the 5% speed from talents, you actually go from 116% movespeed to 100% movespeed when you hit dreadplates

nah it is a bit of our damage profile and that everyone runs around with OP weapons. If you have issues, roar or ravager early, open with shield charge instead of charge and AOE taunt regulary. You sarcifice your DPS a bit to smooth out the run and let DD do their thing.

I guess the weirdest part as prot warrior is the cone ability revenge… if u r not standing in a good position in big pulls you can miss some mobs.. in combination with ulululz rets it’s a big potential to have a dead paladin

the thing about prot warr is we have to be a lot more proactive to attain aggro on mobs.. we do not have an immolation aura, consecrate, dnd, rushing jade wind, etc type ability that does aoe dot to mobs. Closest thing we have is I guess ravager (on a decently long cd) and our bleeds that are very important. So poisitoning is often more important for us than other tanks, perhaps. Especially when you also consider we are not the best tank at grouping mobs either

Couple things that may help.
Establishing agro early matters.
Leaping in, Shield Charging in, pre throwing Ravager etc all help getting you higher up the threat table than burst classes.
If you take Titanic Throw, you will have an aoe taunt for every pull helping you with early agro.
You can also take Storm of Steel which will give you a second charge of Ravager. This can let you stagger Ravager and Thunderous Roar so you have a charge of one or the other for most pulls.

well, a kicked was missed that wiped group on nelt10 before magmatusk, a pretty recoverable mistake on a 10, but instead of quickly releasing to restart fast, the dude just stays dead and begins arguing about what happened.

It's actually crazy how easily you can get a char in working order for this patch
You're reaching 70 and in 2-3h you're 480+ and you can start doing raids and m+
