No. It's worth doing it the other way around though; you macro Shield Slam into the SB or IP casts (AFTER the spender) to snipe resets. But that's never your only Shield Slam button.

No you have 3 things to spend rage on
Basically always have shield block up, if that's up and you're capping rage
You press IP if you need more defense (especially against magic) or you press Revenge for damage

It's better than WW in every way except that WW hits behind you whereas Revenge does not

Yea WW also doesn't benefit from other talents like Revenge does. You can get resets and other effects from Revenge
But essentially just make sure you have block up at all times and then if you're capping you rip Revenge unless you need to live stuff then you IP as a filler rage dump

pwarr as a spec doesnt rely on self-heal so yes you dont have the same as maybe other tanks. We instead just flat-out takes less damage cus we mitigate it
but you shouldnt be struggling to survive in comparison with other tanks

You are practically invincible against most trash
When you've got some decent gear, a lot of haste and a good shield you'll be mitigating an insane amount of damage with shield block/IP
Some dungeons warriors can pull 20 mobs and have their health bar not move once they're planted

Do not get hit in the back though. And some mobs have nasty habit to go dangerously on your sides/back. Like the reavers in TOTT.
Then you take a 1m thrash dmg and wonder what happened.

The scariest part about big pulls is the grouping
Once you're facing the mobs with them all attacking in front you're a tank
There are a few trash mobs that will do damage to us, anything with bleeds
Rise start area trash, dogs in TOTT
Do NOT underestimate the dogs in TOTT if you don't send them to hell say goodnight
You can shockwave leap away and let stacks reset but
You might think you're 100% fine then you see you have 12 bleed stacks and you're about to start ticking for 50% of your health each tick

The little spiders, yes, although it's a magic dot, it can be dispelled.
And if you get a 100% absorb shield like disc priest or Jade Cocoon, the dot is not applied.
