What you may find (especially if you are looking at high key logs) is people wearing Lariats, or Allied Wristguards. In very very high keys the defensive component of such items begins to outweight the raw DPS output of Double Shadowflame. This is probably an issue which is completely irrelevant and beyond you at this point. Don't worry about it overmuch.
