Hey Fellas, im going to preface this by saying that I think I am just a completely bozo. I play a couple tanks around ksh level and have just started doing 22s as a prot pala. Usually I can do content a bit higher then my ilvl, But now i tried prot warrior, and have been getting completely stompped. Is there anywhere i could look or advice someone could give at a general basis on how to run into packs (what cds) and what kind of cd rotation you want (i got a weak aura for ignore pain amount but am not sure if im supposed to spam revenge or spam ignore pain. Apologies for the long mssg, any help is appreciated. im trying to do 16s as a 455

If you're asking between whether you should use revenge or ignore pain, you're probably playing the class wrong at a base line level.
We have enough rage to comfortably use both a lot, though revenge less so just due to how many times we get to cast thunder clap with current tier
You're gonna need to post a log since it sounds like there's some fundamental issues just going in to just playing the class before you get to handling defensive CDs; you can go through 16s almost without ever even pressing a defensive CD at all and be fine

The biggest reason you probably feel squishy is because of a combo of not having shield block up at all times as well as getting hit in the back with shield block up

With thunderlord, you should have more casts of demo than shield charge due to the CD reduction
The single biggest issue, though, is just not pressing enough buttons/buttons fast enough. You've got like half-ish the shield block casts you should have for 100% uptime, Ignore Pain should be used more to just dump rage (also why tracking it is unecessary, since you'll often cast it with a full absorb just to spend the rage off GCD), and just pressing more buttons

You should be using both Revenge and IP since you don't have 4p yet to get so many TCs you rarely press Revenge, since Revenge resets SS CD like Jakey said, so you get more rage overall. But you should also be drowning in enough rage that you need to spend it off GCD to avoid wasting rage. Again, you wasted an entire 12 rage bars worth of rage by getting rage while capped on rage. You should just be sending that on IP so it gets spent

I prefer bars or in that case, "circles". Thus the need for a max duration = full circle.
Without it, WAs just take the starting point as the full value, that's why pressing SB again refreshes the border to "full circle", even though that full circle doesn't mean the same thing than 1st press.
It's far from a big deal tbh.

how it works in practice is basically that Ignore Pain has ~90% chance of giving you the Fervid buff
you'll always press shield slam / tc on cooldown pretty much
so you just pool up rage til you use ignore pain - get the buff - consume bleeds
not a whole lot of conscious thinking and planning with the tier set

well you dont pool per se, but you dont wanna overuse IP/spenders either. But you'll be pressing SS and TC so much anyway that its very fluent
all you really need to do is get a tracker to show that u got the buff so you know you can consume
but even if you dont have trackers you kinda do all that stuff automatically if you play well because you press TC/SS on cd anyway
so you'll always consume and reapply

you gotta constantly reposition as a prot warrior
cuz mobs wont stack up in front of you on 1 place
they will constantly try to spread out around you as the mobs aim to stand next to each other, and not inside of each other
couple that with floor mechanics and storming
meaning you gotta circle or backpedal alot of the time in AD to make sure all mobs stay infront of you
i move a slight bit excessively in this key as ive noticed after rewatching it
but this is also the vod of my AD and you can often see me run around the mobs to ensure the mobs stay grouped up in front of me
