The main reason it's good for Deep Wounds/Rend is because we can reapply, allowing us to sort of pseudo-"stack" bleed applications when we consume them

For both bosses you need to jump in a direct line away from the boss, direction doesn't matter so long as you're not dropping the breath on your group. If you jump at an angle you will still be in range of the breath attacks and depending on the key will most likely die quite quickly
More or less, just watch the timer like a hawk, if you jumped at the wrong angle you still have a bit of time to run a bit to continue to try to outrange it

There's nothing you can really do other than pop defensives and pray your healer can keep you up

Yeah you have full control over your toon during grip other than movement. Rezan is different because you aren't supposed to get eaten.

In the long run, you want Shadowflame on wrists and cloak. In the short term, you should consider a Shield if you don't have a good one, or a weapon.
i sorta enjoyed monk for the brief time i played it in SL
A Shield will be a much more immediate help to your key grinding, and sparks are not in short supply.

The biggest difference in comparison cast wise is that I just pressed more buttons in general
I had about 30 more casts of Thunder Clap without 4p, which resets the CD on TC
I also had 8 more casts of shield wall, and I even sat on it a few times during that key iirc
demo, TR, shield charge, ava, rav all underused
Same story different person pres buttons on CD 
You didn't press Storm Bolt a single time, so that was a wasted talent point

You also wasted almost half the rage you generated with Shield Slam

There is only 1 really bad overlap mid boss fight where breath lines up with the tree adds. That one i would just save aoe taunt for. The rest you should have enough time especially if your saving dragons roar for the add spawns
I typically leap each breath so i can do so at the last few seconds so i can get as much aggro
okay ill be more reserved with my aoe CDs
I also tend to walk into roots before each avatar to reduce the amount of adds that spawn
Avatar will release u from the root and make it hittable

The best way to think of it is defensive stance is a defensive CD with no actually limit on use, so default to battle unless you need
So if you're pushing bungi keys, you might be in it a lot. 20s, only for specific mechanics
It's fixed, and is just alright
The proc at the end isn't anything to write gome about healing ir damage wise, but the strength from stacks is pretty neat

A mix. I recommend staying defensive stance and swapping to battle whenever u feel safe

yeh if you're new/unsure, I would recommend going into pulls with dstance up and going back to battle once you've got ahold of everything and your rage eco is in full swing

It is (generally) the most dps, parry is okay
Big damage increase and the parry is nice in m+
You want to be haste heavy with as much crit as you can get, vers is okay too, mastery is the least ideal.

As long as you're haste heavy, the spread between other secondary stats is very low, like 3% best to worst case.
Vers isn't strictly more suvivability than parry, the dtps profile isn't very different between the two.
Ilvl is generally the thing letting you live harder.
Have more stats > having "correct" stats.
talking strictly dtps crit is by far the best stat as it removes the most dmg overall
its just not that hot vs bosses
In a purely mathematical sense yes, but vs things that are actually gonna kill you, eh.
but for big pulls its by far the best
as even in the most dangerous pulls, you get absolutely shredded by melee attacks
completely REMOVING large chunks of melee dmg allows IP and your general healthpool to work more against other sources

VERSE also has its positives, ASSISTING with some of the most threatening damage sources like Bleed/Magic damage that parry has no assistance with. Yes parry can help ur overall damage intake be lowered in large pulls, but in general, if it is just melees, we are so bulky to that, that even your own impending victory will make you live. But it is definitely a preference on what you like Verse vs. Crit
the difference between vers and crit in surviving large pulls is pretty whatever, both are doing work in different ways that hit near-equivalence
bosses that put absolutely clap your cheeks with bleeds and magic? vers is doing way more than crit
both for dr and ip efficiency

theres a million witches in the dungeon, and they have a ton of annoying, high dmg magic attacks, immune

i currently am set up to sim for patchwerk 5 bosses, 1min fight length

1 min fight length will show it as 0 dam
5 min fight length itll be ur highest simming trinket
In some keys it's not easy to keep the stacks going, but even then it still does like 7k+ dps
And that on a str trinket is insane
I changed the duration to 5min and now it wants me to put on the 463 accelerating hourglass trinket
When you can keep it going the whole time it's easily 9k+ dps
In high keys its pretty hard to keep up though, because u do alot of skipp around packs or invis skips
So alot of the time, its much easier to get value out of something like branch trinket

1 min is usually pretty bad, because a lot of things either explode and are trivial or last longer than that. Optimally, you adjust fight length for how long you expect something to be. If you expect to fight a boss for 3 mins, 3 mins. 8 minutes? 8 minutes. Attempting to sorta sim chain pulling with mobs not dying stagger style or anything? Adjust for that. You need to do multiple sims for different scenarios
generally 5min is a pretty 'standard' boss in raid
which is why it's the default
but as Luerce said, learning to sim for different situations is a good skill
5min, 1 target is kinda the standard though
for dungeons it varies a lot as you'd expect
dungeon slice is an option, although it has a lot of caveats and doesn't work as well on all specs as it does on others, so i'm hesitant to recommend it
I'd do a few sims, like 3min 1 target to simulate a tyr boss, 1min30sec 5 target, 1min30sec 8 target, and kinda see what the trends are
yeah someone the other day told me to stop using it cause it doesnt track certain apl for the spec and recommended that i do patchwerk, 5 bosses
but honestly
the difference in most cases between just doing 1t 5min and simming a bunch of stuff for aoe is minimal
dungeons have so much variance that you can't just gear for one scenario and be perfect
so should i just leave it as 1min for dungeons then since can't really pinpoint a time for it
