combine 2 pulls into one, now damage is much larger, etc. your pug cant handle the stops to combine? overall suffers. and such things
the better thing ends up being set smaller goals that can get focused on for improvement, and those will yield better total output. anything from numericals like rotation building/spending, to cast volumes, to less numbery things like grouping things tighter, getting more stops, or inviting that sick dps you found over that guildy that reallllllly needs his vault slot on late monday night

Depends on the key really. Like ToTT I'm doing around 130k - 140k with 2pc / 2pc with T30 set talents. Fluctuates a lot though based on how good the group is.
I think an average over every key is 110k if I was to guess but, I haven't taken a good look at it yet

Regarding Yazma; the worst thing is if your DPS and healer go to the middle with souls, rather than to a side; the Spiders track them, so if they stay to a side the other side stays clear and you can just gradually take her in a circle around the room
