If you have it and you don't have anything better, then by all means use it, but it'll lose out to a lot of other trinkets in the long run

Your best bet is to run some keys/raid, log it, either go over it yourself or have us look at it for you, and use the information to improve.

General Purpose M+ Build:
To get Spellblock there is no easy choice to make but you drop Bloodsurge, its the least impactful talent to drop for it.
If you want to use Thunderlord, you switch off of Show of Force. Its by far the best point to drop for it.
Raid Build
To get Spellblock drop probably Unnerving Focus or Impenetrable Wall.
You can also opt to talent out of Enduring Defenses if the fight allows it. You still get very high block uptime without it, just not 100%.
