It has more tools specifically for dealing with high keys, such as spell block and shockwave, so you're able to do the pulls you need to in order to time keys. I wager with the reduced Demo Shout CD, desyncing it won't be as big of a problem, and it is more just overall defensive gain from more Demos. I don't know the particulars on damage for it since I'm dumb and I also don't actually care about fussing about it until it hits live servers
since blizz can do whatever they want to our talents/balance/tier until that happens

just did a retest, it depends how close you are. tc can hit the dummie from 8 yeards without doing rend on the target, and only apply rend if its in range of the rend ability it self, so i guess the bug is stil there?

in this scenario, Sunder shadow took our DK to 21% health 218k left. This is about 820k health missing
the follow up shadow strike hit him for 1.9mill
base dmg of shadow strike is 274k, bonus dmg would be the 820k so i expected it would be 1.1million hit
1.9 only makes sense if its 2x missing health
looked at some of the ones on me and it neemed similar
he popped purg an normally shadow strike isnt a big deal so prompted us to look into it and lead to me questioning how the calc is done

With 1,395,503 total hp and taking both 393,268 + 64,195 his missing health was 1,395,503 - (393,268 + 64,195) = 938,040, which added to the base damage.... 938,040 + 274,000 = 1,212,040
so he took a 1.2M shadow strike

well if you assume 40% haste (which is sort of achievable from rating with meme items), and into the fray stacked (cough), you'd have 54% haste, which would be a GCD of .97 seconds. With bloodlust you'd be at 200.2% haste, which would bring you to .75 seconds, which is the lowest you can go.

I was thinking go-to embellishments for the first couple of weeks may be the Vers bracers and lariat (as you'll have lots of sockets still - course, when that changes, something else i assume)

But yeah, the spec revolves around Shield Slam and Thunderclap, and then filling in gaps with revenge/execute. Wherever you bind those two buttons, they should be highly accessible and comfortable to mash constantly. Ignore Pain is off the GCD and is spammed a bunch in high rage scenarios, so it should also be comfortable as a binding (and ideally pressable while pressing other buttons - I have it bound to my mouse while my core rotation is bound to my keyboard)
