What it does it remove 1/3rd of the "handshake" part, which if your connection is stable, its fine... But if its not? And you start dropping it, you can actually create funny situations where you basically drown your nic and broadcasting will go wild.

In relation to the first post, this is the big part. But its supposed to be 3 registry settings and 2 nic changes to consilidate full packet handling.
This should nudge you in the right direction though.
