If fury makes your hand hurt then port or arms aint for you either. Fury only goes to 30% haste then mastery and crit. Arms and prot both go to 6 and 7.1k respectively

It's good for the purpose it serves, which is to enable better spending of rage when we're absolutely overflowing with rage, since it makes Revenge more inefficient in exchange for more damage per cast. Unfortunately, we have not been just drowning in rage. That's why it was good during pre-patch, as we were drowning in rage with the talent changes and banner both existing at the same time.

ilvl > stats

I wanted a more 'traditional' tanking spec, with active mitigation, self sustain and that I didn't need to pay so much attention to so many buttons and cooldowns as it is in brewmaster.

it reduces avatar CD by 3.5 rage, heals you for 3.5% hp and is 1/7th of an outburst
your goal as prot warrior is generating and spending rage as much as possible
