Random question, but how does one look at the value of parry on logs correctly? To determine how much dmg was avoided. Dont want to make assumptions as ive never looked at this bit of information before

You can go to damage taken and hover over the number in the Miss% column and it'll show you how much of the missed attacks were parries

I can find that, but that number it self doesn't quite answer my question about the total dmg avoided by it. I know in this case its 90% of 40, so its 36% of misses were parries. But how much dmg was "avoided" in the parried attacks? Should I math that 36% with the raw total dmg screen? Or is there a place that will tell you how much dmg was avoided that isnt just an average guess based on that?

Most of them are static; just Heroic leap to the right place and you'll get first blow, which knocks them out of stealth and they can't incap you. There's only the 2 just after the 3 dragonflies that patrol.
Or you can bring a Hunter for Flare (if the Hunter even remembers they have Flare)
You can also open the combat with Ravager, which knocks them out of stealth in the same way

let me put it like this. even if you go ultra mega hard into vers, you can AT BEST maybe get like 30% maybe 35%, which is like 15-17.5% raw damage reduction
each time you go a keylevel higher above 20, you take 8% more damage
at roughly 6 or 7 keylevels difference you double your dmg intake
i dont have exact numbers at hand cuz im lazy, but in a 32 youll take twice(if not more) as much damage as in a 25.
and obviously way more than 2x of what you take in a 22, different kind of stats aint gonna be a deciding factor for a tank to such a degree that it suddenly lets you tank higher keys
