my policy on leaving a group is, it depends on the severity and cause and frequency of the wipes or other factors
like, tyranical, get to the first boss, lust, die at boss with 5% hp
that key is toast
so its like, basically like, 2-3 wipes for me
i swear it should be, if you get to a boss, and you do a lust that is succesful and you wipe to the boss within 2 minutes from time of hitting lust, the exhuastion counter gets cut in half one to minimum of 5 minutes, cant go below that.
even sucks in raids, basically gotta take 10 minutes between each pull (some you can reset it on, ya)

Plus, tanking tends to be easier for me than DPSing. I'm good at positioning and keeping enemies on me, not so much at knowing when to burst and the proper rotation, I tend to click things as they go on cooldown or start to glow
Apart from defensive pops, I do know when to use those, I practiced getting the hang of reflexively pouring rage into ignore pain, keeping shield block up, etc
So I'll keep in mind to use Shield Charge more often and line it up with Demo/Avatar, but is it still okay for me to use it to enter engagements?

The only real reason to use shield charge to engage is if you have no shield block, no rage and you expect the pack to kill you as you enter

Question: with the exception of the 4 tier pieces, all the rest of my gear is crafted and I have gone all in on the haste/vers. atm my haste is 5804 (38%) and vers is 5523 (27%). I did this based on what I had heard before that vers is a tad better than crit, but now I see in the pin here, and on the method website, that crit has some edge over vers. Crit and vers are relatively equal but most people now would recommend crit; although vers gives damage reduction, its impossible to get enough of it to actually make a difference. Therefore, better to get the better damage stat in crit. However, always sim yourself to double check what stats are best for you.
