It's for Rashok Specifically. We're trying to inch out most amounts of damage. There's no risk of over taunting. When in Battle Stance, that combo just hurts too much.
BDK is managing all movement and position as I'm raid leading, so he'll always take first hits, so I'll always end up taunting to get hit.

In m+ pally is without a doubt the lowest overall dmg tank, easy to look at the top 5 pally streams and the top 5 dk streams and see dk is a fair bit ahead of pally while still being behind the rest of the tanks. You don’t bring a pally for dmg though so it’s not the end of the world if their dmg is lower

They get buffed, it doesn't show up for the augmentation evoker on logs because of how the hooks work.
The buff goes Evoker => Hunter's Pet, but because of pet coding it doesn't make the journey back so it's just Hunter's Pet => Hunter on the way back.
Same happens for Unholy DK and damage ramps like Ignite.

Ideally, yes. You would heroic throw or taunt the ones that spawn further away to bring them to you. It lets people cleave on to the boss while they're killing them.
