You might just be fucking your movement.
There's really nothing in the fight that mandates extreme movement on tanks part that would necessitate being beyond melee range during the combo, be it the first or the second one - that is to say the one that follows the meteor and the one that follows up right after midway through the little soaks.

I dunno, I personally never bothered moving him except to orient meteor on raid, after conduit, and after slam to make dodging everything easier for raid, melee, and myself.
It just might be overaggressive positioning.

And a lot of it is pretty methodic and cyclical. The only variance is like... when slam positioning is weird because mechanic RNG is bullshit.

They might start at a differnt spot, but the room is symmetrical, so who cares.
You'll see a lot of how he just moves and then plants.
Moves then plants.
They move between the combos, and you can if you wish, but it's not compulsory.
Even near the end you got enough space that positioning isn't usually a major issue.

I will say, though, I kinda smoothbrained my way through Rashok prog by taking Splock for Flame Slash
I know you can do it without, but our healers had a lot on their plate and it let me feel more secure to just roll Splock for the first two combos, then wall the 3rd before the frontal
And it's always up in that order every time.
So it kinda makes your lineups for tank combo brainless
Plus being able to crit block flame slash can be chonky
For my group at least, drawing him away a bit from his recent slam made a big difference since it gives people more room to dodge lava waves from all angles.

Hello! I'm getting suggestions to have Shield Block macro'd to quite a few of my abilities (as I'm a new prot warrior) because my Shield Block uptime is quite low (like 60%). Is that something people do? I was given these:

I also could:
- Respec into Heavy Reprecussions as I think that could help my uptime.
- Apparently I also wasn't using Shield Charge much, which should help to fill in gaps.

A much better suggestion than macroing the ability into your other abilities is to get a weakaura to help you see the duration/CD of shield block charges and shield charge

Don’t think just press button, AM helps you get a lot of CDs back anyways. This applies to basically every button you have except for shield block/last stand. Generally you still want to press those liberally but for example pressing shield block against a mob that doesn’t swing or at the very end of the pull while you already have some shield block going doesn’t help you a lot. Same kinda applies to last stand, pressing it as the pack is dying is losing buff time.
