stats interact with one another. consider for example, if 1% haste == 1% damage, and 1% crit == 1% damage, then 20% crit would = 120%, while 10% crit and 10% haste would be 1.1x1.1=1.21=121%. obviously a very watered down and simplified, but it should illustrate why having some points is worth it, even if its not your ideal gearing choice. ITs also why sims will start slightly favoring your off stats as you get more of your main

Use spell block on first combo so it extend all the way to the 2nd. Use shield wall for 3rd combo. Keep shield block up at all times and you should be good overall. Good tank are consistent, focus on the tank combo/taunt. Don’t worry about your damage before you bring the boss 25%. Before that it’s just about learning the dance
