We stay in Battle Stance 95% of the time. The other 5% being tankbusters or dangerous packs

we had a group with 3 differernt dispellers on an 11
and this was still the best we could manage for time
even when i bumped the key down from 13 to 12 to 11 joining random pugs.... and finally on the 11..... pulling only 2 groups of mobs instead of 3 like before one 12 and 13........

ive noticed though that at least in the last like week or so i have had nonstop groups full of people who absolutely REFUSE to kick or stun anything, so ive started just inviting DH and rogues to keys and msging them to help. if you have groups with all range and they are not coordinated on kicks and just burn all 3 every time on the same cast you will not have fun unfortunately 😦

spell block helps-- if you struggle with backstepping other stuff its nice as an emergency for the slow if you dont get dispelled quickly
get timers-- i like the ability timeline weakaura-- and when the dragon is about to cast start running
it will plant and youll outrange every time
my goal for after next week, assuming full gear, would be 95k+ in every dungeon and 120-140k in FH/BH
just warn your melee that you will have to backstep breath so cant point dragon in "ideal" area

if you have 4pc youd be using LS offensively there anyways, so yeah send it
pre-use last stand (if you have 4pc), and yeah, you'll shield wall there, and spell block, and probably another last stand
then wall will be back up before boss if you ened it
(besides, last stand isn't really a defensive anyway)
you wouldnt need wall again after that pack anyways, so wouldnt hold it

i'd get used to just using wall a lot more tbh, if you're wondering if you should use it you probably should have. its a very short cd and its btter to use it a lot in worse spots then never use it at all to save it for the best spots

my understanding for Paladin is that for damage, Onyx is the way to go
for defense, you want stat rings
but you can get away with not doing the onyx if you dont want
the difference aint gonna tank your damage
and youll benefit quite a bit with more stats defensivly

Hey guys! Today I decided to begin trying to cater my talent points to specific dungeons, instead of going with a ‘one size fits all’ build. What are some talents that you like the pick up only for specific dungeons? For example, Spell Block is good in HoI but not really in freehold, or Intervene is great in Vortex Pinnacle.

those drop from 17s, but 16s gives you aspect crests, you can start to craft your gear at 447, you only need (5) 16 keys timed to get a crafted item to 447, which is nice because its half what we needed in s1

There’s also Bitter Immunity in Underrot and Brackenhide, you can run Intervene in Vortex Pinnacle during the third stretch to shield block the chain lightnings. Berserker Rage can make you immune the the mechanics against Tricktotem. Wrecking Throw can help out in any dungeon where enemies have absorb shields. You can swap Impenetrable Wall for the other talent for the final boss in Neltharion’s lair. These are just a few things I found online, I was hoping some of us would have better insight, is all. I have two points per tree I can afford to move around for specific dungeons.

There's no reason to drop IW for last boss in NL. You can reflect most of his casts and SW is up for any gaps

I wanna make sure I'm doing this right... this isn't meant to be precise, just kind of a general napkin math abstraction to see how much damage the AA slows can prevent as a result of the diminished AA count...
- On our best pull we took a total of 69 Infused Strikes between both tanks, assuming we have all 3 that's ~45% attack speed slow.
- That'd hash out drop it to somewhere between 37 and 39 hits, whic is a lot less.
- We're generally clearing every 10th stack (5 and 5) when both bosses are down, but around 6 stacks when we have only one. We're assuming 10 stacks for this.
- That's about 3 less Infused Explosions, and with 8 being our total for the best pull, meaning it prevents the impact and dot of those Explosions as well
- Infused Explosions did 43M damage, with 3 less that's about 30% DR, meaning it also prevents about 12-13M raid damage.
I haven't bothered calculating how much less damage the DOT would be on the tank, but I want to make sure I'm not talking out my ass when I tell my RL why we should do this.
I should say, this is post DR intake.

Just make sure never to pull more than 2 pelters
And don't feel like you need to rush the trash before last boss, that shit can hurt and its a salty run back
how does the Zskarn tank strat work? like do you run 3 tanks and 1 is just on only doing Grenades or what is the idea?

the two tanks who are swapping the dot can grab a nearby bomb if it's convenient and they have CDs etc but otherwise the third tank takes them all

Like eldrirrch said you kill the first boss and you’re like 4 pulls away from the last boss so if you kill him you can win
it's doable, and having a paladin for bop definitely helps, but it's unusually high tank damage for a hc fight
gotta actually think about CD usage, dot stacks, and be careful not to get clipped by other mechanics
and healers will have their hands full if your group is bad at positioning

We did it, I was on my warrior taking care of the bombs and my co-tank (BDK) was taking care of the boss. I was clearing the bombs, coming to ge tthe boss so he could reset his debuff and back on my way to bombs. It worked out just fine but it is an absolume massive amount of tank damage (the BDK is great and stacked to 10+ stacks without too much trouble)
Hello, I just did a 22 Uldaman and I feel like the Stone weavers packs hit very hard when they just machine-gun stone bolts at me. Shield wall, interrupts and AoE cc's can only do so much, so I just wanted to know if it's be worth taking SpellBlock in this dungeon? I know the pinned comment says it's mostly for Neltharus and NL but I feel like I kinda need it
If you feel like you need it you should take it (I personally do because I can't trust my dps to kick/cc properly) Better sacrifice one talent than the key
