It's not so much your positioning as it is the group in relation to you tbh. Like the easiest method I've found is to have you tank him along a wall, and the ranged/melee all bait the charge down the wall a bit. So he doesn't go across the room. Then you just go to him and reverse the process.

I do not think there's any reason at all to use the hoard. The feast is more convenient. Even in a raid I wouldn't count on people having enough shit to fill up the hoard. Stop overthinking it and just use banquet or personal

But you could always high roll a forgestorm or DPS trinket with tertiary.

We don't need protection against melees, which is mostly what shard would help with. Plus talisman works very well with Ignore Pain since it only mitigates 50%, letting IP cut the remainder in half.
Also, talisman has half the CD but only about 100k less absorb cap.

After you pass the bridge take a sharp right onto a hill. Jump down it and walk up another hill on the right. You can skip all the mobs in that area after the bridge without an invis pot. You just have to avoid the hunter patrol by letting it pat towards the opposite bridge, jump on a ledge, and go around it
