I could use some constructive criticism on gaining and holding aggro on packs of more than 3. I am ilvl 415. last night i ran a +12 brackenhide and i had a miserable time gaining aggro and holding aggro on packs of more than 3. it hasn't only just been brackenhide. i have noticed it in other dungeons, too. i'm rolling charge>shockwave>thunderclap and charge>thunder clap>Revenge> when Shockwave is on CD. i don't typically have issues with 3 or less mobs. How can I be better here?

i usually find that once I have threat it's easy to maintain, it's just the early/beginning of the pull that things can go awry. shockwave is really better to use as an AoE stop than a threat/DPS tool.

make sure nothing is behind you so revenge cleaves to them
make sure you're rotating targets for shield slams

The only place I've ever seen that happen is the bridge before ring of booty. Some spells can snag the pack that patrols under the bridge but you just pull it back or you pull it into the next pack and you're fine

For ST DPS, yes.
It's purely a damage perspective. If you prefer to just have stats, running two stat rings is a DPS loss, but I doubt the difference is ever going to be whether you get a kill on a M prog or not
