We dont pay attention to IP uptime its irrelevent is you are playing correctly you will be overcapping IP usually as its used as a rage dump and you use it often enough to do that

You taunt during - Rashok immediately changes aggro unlike most other bosses with taunt swaps. So if the first ability hits the other tank and the second is the same ability, you taunt immediately during the 2nd cast. If the 2nd is different, then let it go off and taunt immediately during 3rd

I have watched some videos and most tanks seem to just "ignore" it, but when I try to do that in a +15 with ilvl ~420, it almost kills me lol. When I try to dodge it (by running half a circle around it), it follows me but I don't get as much damage - is that the way to go? If there are melees in the group, would I kill them by doing so? Or do I have to use all my CDs on the three dragons there? I don't even want to imagine the damage they do next week 😄

just use a cd on breath if you need, third boss doesn’t do anything to tank so no reason to hold if you have. Face breath away from group, can be a bit tricky with melee sometimes if you have to sidestep or move from the stun aoe but should be fine

We were just swapping back and forth after each slash on normal. We were having a tank do one of the bombs, so when bombs came up, we'd wait for the next slash, swap, then non-tanking tank would go do bomb, drop bomb and void at the same time, then come back up and taunt

It's still possible to drag him through a chain that's small; just harder. But ideally yes, the DPS move away from the spear so it's easier.
Also have to be careful (at least I assume you do on higher keys) about breaking them too quickly because it puts a stacking dot on the group each time a chain breaks.

Forgestorm is pretty much a run away for best weapon this season. 437 Forgestorm sims about 700 dps higher than my 447 crafted sword. That difference only amplifies the more targets you have.

Beacon will be the go to for most as scalecommander gets more available on different difficulties.

There's also the much easier way to deal with that by avoiding puddles altogether and standing behind one of the piles of eggs
And just taunting and walking in as the cast ends so you don't get eaten

I think I'm gonna need to go queue some way low keys and practice the boss tbh. It's the only part fucking me up now.

That's what I have been doing. Heroic leaping out to eggs right before the cast goes off then you can sit there for most of it as well as get a clear picture of where the piles are so you can run against it and end up in one of the slow pools.
