yeah it's a lot to take in, if you're just starting out then now is a good time to start farming the plan for black dragon touched hammer since it can't be crafted by another BS. Or you can buy the plan off the AH but it's usually like 100k+ gold

That's true, but not blocking without sotr, can be very dangerous. And from my experience, it is much easier to let sotr drop than letting sb drop

You can do a multi target sim to verify your strongest aoe options as well.

Numbers will be inflated big but just judge by the relative increase. Do like 5 minutes of 5 patchwerk bosses or something

Frostfire belt is absolutely fine to craft, it's only 200 dps worse overall than 2x shadowflame because it allows you a different statted belt

But if you wanna be smart you just wait with any kind of crafts
