I think it's more that buffing can result in some unexpected changes. like for example with guardian druid, they added Thorns of Iron just to give some offensive value to the defensive use and it's turned into a playstyle thats massively more damage

then they get hit by some cleave shit and die, that leads to zero dps or hps, then you wipe, and lose time

I loved mushroom man just after dark iron was added you would get a str buff per stack, so I popped sw ls and ran through 15 shrooms then slapped that racial

the fact that a person can soak if something goes wrong already makes this boss a lot better

than av first boss

Iirc there used to be a trick with ams and Sr where you could get stacks and then pop Sr/ams and walk into 1 more shroom and it would remove all stacks due to some oddity in the mechanic

bdk may become king because AMS + DA / WW for shroom boss undersuck

will make anypaladin a very good pick for that dungeon

To be fair spell block has been in the game for Pally for a very long time. It's not the end all be all that people make it sound like.
