When you are confortable with the route, throw yourself into a high. key and be ready to get SLAPED

Then learn and repeat. Having a guild or a group of friends massively helps

Also, accept you gonna get flamed, keys will be depleated, leaves will happen. It's inevitable.

All these dungeons are pretty straightforward on percent. Everything up to and including 20s are timeable with a very basic press w route so keep that in mind

Taking risks and maximizing lust and invis skips aren’t generally needed until higher keys. And usually only beneficial if you have a consistent premade group ime

And as you tank more and more you kinda just learn by habit which groups can be combined certain weeks. And also what your current pug group can handle

From what I read, if you swap every time the cotank gets flamerift, that's around 5-6 stacks

And then boom died to party-wide spells

You can have one tank get the add debuff everytime too. Drop add go puck up boss. Debuff happens again other tank taunts you go drop add again.

Which works out to about 6-7 stacks

Depending on how clean taunts are.

Do i Pick the Grieftorch for my prot spec and craft/get lucky on the 2H for my offspec or grab the 2H since its also good right there? How good is the Grieftorch for Prot?

I'm doing 2x his damage and he's losing aggro and I'm getting my stacks reset

and he taunts it back and gets like 10 stacks and then the flamerift comes out on him

and I taunt it back

and end up at 10 stacks too

What are people's takes on IP uptime? I was just in a key where after the healer told me I didn't cast IP enough. IP had a ~65% uptime (shield block 81% uptime) I wasn't pushing it because.... well, I wasn't feeling particularly threatened. I healed more via leech than IP, but had a reasonable 15k hps.

Should I have been pushing it more and trying to pull bigger I guess?

Caveat: I did die twice. Once because my phone rang and I stood bad for lasher splat, and once on the double pack right before the second boss since I didn't realize they fixed the stair gimmick. We +2d the key, and otherwise I didn't even fall under 50% HP.

Uptime isn't really what you want for block or IP.
