Seem to be pressing the keys from 2 to 6 and the same time everytime you want to attack.
Focus on using only shield slam, revenge and thunderclap, you dont need rend, slam.
You are pressing shield on melee range (doesnt do anything) because you are pressing keys randomly.
This is all on the first pull.

for now, remove rend and slam from the action bars, go to a dummy and focus on using shield slam, revenge and thunderclap, when you get the hang of it, weave avatar onto it and see how its cd comes down with rage used, then you can start increasing the buttons that you are using (shield block, shield charge, etc)

idk it doesn't really matter. at the end of the day you make it look how you want to. just know it's an option to move things around if you don't like where things are or if the default UI just makes your life harder than it needs to be. my only real gripe with your UI as it as in that video is you have very important buttons out in australia compared to the rest of your bars and there's no reason to have to move your eyes around that much in combat

the only reason I ever use sims is to check guildmates to see if the top spells in DETAILS ADDON is somewhat close to what it should be, if its not ill message them advice on what they could be doing better. On an individual level, try rotation priority addons like "ConRo" for a visual overlay on top of your action bars, this well help drill your prioritized rotation into your head.

So what I was told, by a TC friend, is that RWS has a fucked proc rate in the first minute of combat. That's why if you look at its performance in dungeon logs, it's very lackluster because you're stopping/restarting combat a lot.
