afaik it just changes proc rates of each of it procs for 24h. it can proc dmg, stats or healing. if u use it without targeting anything the stat proc chance increases, if u use it on an enemy the dmg proc rate increases and if u use it on an ally the healing proc rate increases

No. Go to the auction house and open the gem tab (don’t select stat) and look at the new gems. They have wording saying “air gem” or “earth gem”. Some with majority of a specific stat are actually listed as a different type than you might think

As a point of Clarification: Haste does hit a level where Diminishing returns probably make Crit and Vers better, on a point for point basis. However, that level is at 40% Haste (not including Into the Fray), which you will be hard pressed to hit this early in a season

my main worry with it is besides the shield not being anythign amazing, its that proc rate. shield you can pop on demand when you really need them are much better since you can use them when things are actually hairy rahter than proc when you're on an easy in-between pull. HPS is a fun stat but it only really matters if it helps your healers or helps you live things you otherwise wouldn't, otherwise you're better off taking a damage trinket and killing mobs faster.

as far as i can tell, there's not really other good defensive trinkets out there either though. it might not be worth writing home about, but is it worth the slot as an intermediary piece, or just hot garbage? esp given my other options are within a hair of most keys i'd be doing from now on anyways.

1st of all, the power target for Embellishments seems to be around 0.5%-1% power gain over having none at all, so theyre not that important to have the ABSOLUTE best one.

The so far known "Best" Embellishment is considered the "Elemental Lariat" Necklace.
"Infurious Helmet of Vengeance" around 1% dmg output on average.
"Armor Spikes" is alright, nothing special.
"Unstable Frostfire Belt" is solid dps.
"Allied Wrists of Companionship" super solid.
"Frostfire Legguards of Preparation" are bait, you only get the benefit of ~8-10% haste for 10seconds on pull in m+. Useless outside of fresh pulls, cant recommend.

It is harder. Tanks have to take way more incoming damage. Telling DPS to not unga bunga both ads at the same time so your whole raid doesn't get yeeted is more difficult than just killing one at a time that you can't possibly hold at the same3 time

You do have to run near stuff, ie tree boss in aa I found I had to park my ass near as many of the germinates as possible, you will get a good feel of the range of the potion on that fight lol. Pull an easy 60k dps aswell :p
