Quick error searching guide. Get 2 addons, buggrabber and bugsack. Both are needed to see lua errors. If you use elvui? You can use /ecdebug and it will disable all addons easily for you. Elvui also has a built in checker for how much addons are drawing in performance, cpu etc.
There is addons that does this but I forgot the name, think titan panel does it. But its been a while since I use elvui

It's 1-2 ppm on the proc, so you're never gonna have full stacks. It resets stack upon entering combat. You're gonna have to micromanage it. Its just not a good trinket. Can you use it? I did another sim yesterday, had a ton of trinkets. did like 10 sims, for differnt timers, lust, no lust etc etc. Like nom explained but even doubling it because I wanted to sell the other 5 trinkets I had.
In every single sims, bigtoe and scale came out on top.

Engineers can make Zapthrottle, JC can make empty soul cage. There are certain elementals that can be killed, and you channel your zapthrottle as they die in order to suck out their soul and keep it in the JC cage. The soul needs 15 minutes to calm down before being released, at which point it is released as the mat you need. If released before the 15 minutes it is some other elemental mat.

The zapthrottle and soul cages are both abundant on the auction house.

Water elemental is in south central Azure Span

Fire elemental is in eastern Azure Span

Storm elemental is in north west Ohn'ahran plains along the coast.

Earth elemental is in waking shores kind of close to Dragonbane keep

The absorb ring isn't bad, most people have trinkets that deal fire damage across DPS and tank specs

So getting it to proc isn't really that hard.

But you're not gonna live or die by it
