The way I played it on beta was to use roar on the first set of adds when they burst forth (you have a few sec of leeway) and if you get a 2nd set you aoe taunt.

I do not think aggro persists through burst forth as I have had cases with them going all over the place without either of the above abilities.

the problem is that the people saying there's an echo chamber are also part of their own echo chamber. WoW's general community spread has jammed itself into these sequestered communities that just reinforce their own thoughts, whether it's streamer followers, these discords, top-end guilds, etc

Yeah good point - even in ‘tank’ podcasts; i can only recall stuff that either has a group of theorycrafters from discords like this OR top RWF/MDI tanks but the groups never mix

End of the day just gotta take information from both groups and dip

Fwiw, among the tank TC community there's been many, many attempts to include high end m+ players, rwf players and analysts, etc. Quite a few have agreed and been very productive contributors to these things. For a select few loud voices, they just laughed at the olive branch and burned the bridge as best they could with their actions after.

It's very frustrating from an inside perspective

TCers want as many different perspectives as possible

It's why we all talk and why we keep trying to get more people involved

But it's very hard to stay motivated to keep making the offer when half the time it's thrown back in your face in the name of content

I don't know if @strong forum remembers how it went the last time we tried to invite people to contribute
