No, it doesn't stay constantly @jovial birch it would grant you the haste for each new enemy hit up to 5. So if I charge into a new trash pack with 5 mobs, I'm going to get 5 stacks of the buff once I hit them all. Those 5 stacks last for 10 seconds, then drop. You can only gain stacks once per mob on effects like that. So I wouldn't gain more stacks at that point until an add showed up or I start the next pack.

So three uses of shockwave would due to slightly more damage than the initial hit of thunderous roar but would be dwarfed once the dot started ticking

And that's assuming you can always hit 3 targets to reduce the CD, which means on bosses it's even worse

Not to mention you have to spend 3 points on shockwave to get all that, whereas thunderous roar only needs 2

Generally speaking the other embellishments SHOULD be better than armor spikes.
And since you can only use 2x Embellishments using the shield will eat one away.

-ED (Enduring Defenses) increases that to 8s
-HR (Heavy Repercussions) increases your SB duration by 1s every time you Shield Slam when SB is active
-SB max duration is 3x6 (or 8 with ED).

So if you cast 2x SB's your SB duration will be 12s(or 16s if ED) etc.
