after playing around with the knockback on intimidating shout for a couple dungeons I can report back that the ability feels ass to use. I talented it with the intention of being able to knock casters or other straggling ranged mobs into the melee pile but this wasnt as easy as I first thought.
One of the main problems is that your main target obviously isnt knocked back, this causes you to need a melee mob within 8y of the target you want to knock and if that melee mob isnt able to be feared then it seems like nothing at all is happening?
The main mob isnt getting feared but no other mobs are being knocked back either, it just goes on CD...
I also discovered a lot of the mobs I was interested in knocking are immune to knockbacks. I feel it could be somewhat usable though if it knocked back your main target as well.

It seems for at least some of the builds both guides end up specing into Storm Bolt.. but then never mention ever actually using it. So I'm trying to figure out when you'd use it. Just on CD? Or is it taken primarily for the stun?

depending on your playstyle the talent is basically broken for a lot of people in the first place
if you never let ip drop after opener, and especially the contents available now do not deal enough damage to drop your ip, the talent is broken within like 2 seconds into an opener
once IP tops it just stops working and wont work until the IP buff is completely off your character

By contrast, Sab's much more likely to get butt hurt and become a raid boss if he doesn't get to be aspect, so we get to beat him up for loot, too .
