did a HOV and had 3263 procs from rend, deep wounds and TR ticks and I had 225 bloodsurge procs
7% of 3263 is 228
i had less rage generated from bloodsurge than demo shout
and that was jsut fucked up

the biggest takeaway from s1's in BFA and SL are
there were better choices, majority just didnt know about it

I feel like im struggling a bit as a tank. I feel like sometimes i have nothing to press waiting for my rage to build. Am I doing something wrong? shield slam crit dmg is increased by 10%
and battering ram increases crit chance and dmg of shield charge
more wildstrikes uptime means more shield slams
and thus more rage, dmg and surv

shield block is 1. off the gcd so it's not like it's taking the place of another DPS ability, and 2. costs rage, which is literally why you are pressing IP in the first place, to avoid overcapping rage
you can have 100% uptime easily
in practice, like 95% + is good, maybe you let it drop off at the end of a pack because you're pooling for next pack, etc.
Full coverage vs incoming phys hits. Which with travel and such may not look like 100% on a buffs page
yeah details uptime and logs uptime are a bit different. Although since we're talking about increasing your DPS, even full coverage vs. incoming hits might not be the best indicator
But even then 100% uptime is doable

its based off his energy bar, when it reachs 100 % he goes back on the horse
so just look at that and decide if you can delay for long enough
the intended mechanic is for everyone to gather up for shared suffering and then split for mortal strike
so you can do that if you like, but dodging it isn't that hard in practice
in logs there are a lot more factors though as any waiting time will count towards downtime
like nome's log has 88% uptime but he only blocked 79% of hits, I have a log of 77% uptime but blocked 89% of hits
if you wipe and have to run back or stand hanging around or travelling out of combat etc your SB uptime in logs will be lower
doesn't really matter, if your blocked hits are high your uptime for SS dps is almost certainly good too
my point was just SB uptime as a buff in logs is not a great metric in itself

It's not super reliable because his spell queuing can change each time. Sometimes he'll phase in the middle of recasting which is best case scenario. Sometimes hell finish the second cast and you have to dodge that one too. It also becomes much harder to dodge them all once he's below 20% because he stops going back on the horse
Warrior with banner up is enough move speed to out run every cast but you have to be on top of your shit to do it and not eat one accidentally without being prepared for it

believe you need in excess of 130% base movement speed to step out of it, any intervene or leap out will work but he will recast

if i'm reviewing my own logs from keys, what kinds of things would i look for that would be obvious areas to improve? atm i just look at amount of melees taken without SB up and rage wasted

As Nimchip hit on, I made a personal challenge to myself to get one character for every spec in the game (36 currently) to max level.

most glaring things i see which is why i asked is overcapping and a little bit of improvement in banner and block
i also think i use SS way too much compared to TC. i think i'm too quick to hit it when the CD resets instead of using TC in aoe
SS generates more rage so defensive wise it is the right play

well i for one agree with naowh cause i swear to god bear is the most boring alt-tank ive ever played

every time i think about going back to bear i just think of that video of the guy that played bear with potatoes and the evil thoughts go away
getting huge buffs to damage I think has the perception it makes it more fun
bear does not seem fun to play to me, or the talents
