truth. thats the hard part of keys is the pugging. On tyranical week upper kara was no issue niether way lower. Somehow everyone forgot mechanics last week.. Im like arent bosses easier on fortified.

i had to apply so much and create my own groups etc
yesterday (last day of the reset), i started getting to +10's and +12's
that was my goal to get a +15 done and some decent score on all dungeons, today i crafted tier 4pc and started doing my own key a couple of times, then i had good enough gear to get accepted to other +15's and finished the 2k score
it's unbelievable how bad players there are in the +2 to +12 range, it's absolutely bonkers
also there are so many people with 280ish gear and 2kish rating who have no idea whatsoever about any boss mechanics or trash mechanics on dungeons
another unbelievable thing is that so far i've probably encountered three healers who have dispelled me on zul'gamox. i'm literally expecting to die on that mob in every dungeon, because none of the healers dispel that dot and let it stack up to 7 or 8 and then i die

Double Time is directly linked to Shield Block uptime, as well as rage gen, making your base ability to not die come into question if you pick rumbling over double time
Reprisal is pretty much a band-aid to the fact that Prot War can't keep up Shield Block for as long as it needs to on average and not abusing it is extremely detrimental
It also provides absolutely zero benefit on bosses, while Double Time still gives reprisal as well as mobility. On top of all that, there is also the fact that the extra mobility helps to maintain chain pulling speed for banner, as well. Rumbling Earth would also need to get actual use out of the cd reduction as well for picking it to have any benefit whatsoever. If you get it off CD 15 seconds earlier, but don't use it again until the 15 seconds have passed, you might as well have just not picked the talent.

yeah me and my guildies usually go from opera to maiden the "normal route", if we wipe during the trash we go to moroes, but we don't deliberately wipe after opera just to go the other way
so sometimes the chest is at attumen, sometimes maiden, depending on how the trash goes 😄

that usually 1. gets you killed or 2. just eats a charge of your jump you should be using for something else
there are moments where cheesing the tiny bit extra damage with the jump is warranted, but that's something one shouldn't start with :p

Currently prot warrior is on the harder to play on side of tanking on endgame content
In 2 weeks when the pre-patch for Dragonflight launches it'll get alot easier to play
But it should teach you the basics of tanking
Prot warrior is all about mitigating the dmg before it happens. So it forces you to learn when what is going to happen so you can pro-act accordingly

Prot is very difficult. It’s hard to tell when you died due to poor cooldown usage or poor heals
It’s also tough to determine how much damage you’re actually mitigating. Compare it to holy priest it’s so easy to tell when you land a massive heal.
