Biggest dam intake from that miniboss is the stacking claws debuff. You can SR a stack but you'll take ramping dam until your healer dispels. Generally if you find your healer dispelling insta you can get into trouble when you take multiple stacks, their dispel is on CD, and you're just chillin with it (worse if Blood Shield is also going off)
