❗ Codex Of The First Technique is not a good trinket for Protection Warrior ❗ The lack of strength aswell as the very low dmg intake of us grants us little to no benefit of running the trinket. ❗ In all cases its a DPS and HPS loss to use the trinket even in +28 keys or higher ❗ The absorb of codex applies after IP, so it's literally 4x worse on us.

I use Ignore Pain, making sure to keep it up as much as rage will allow, without overcapping it. I use Shield Block for melee hits. And otherwise I try to maximize rage generation with Shield Bash, Thunder Clap, the shout (I forget its name) and Avatar.
I'm noticing I'm a lot squishier with Protection than I am Guardian. There are times I feel very vulnerable and stressed. Is this how Protection is? Or is there a trick or lesson I haven't learned yet? Looking for tips. Loving the spec otherwise.
