it can. since it's a spell it will show up as "deflect" in logs, not to be confused with SR deflect. it does seem to scale with your parry rating, but i could be wrong on that

If it’s something as simple as just wanting a bar or icon showing if you have shield block I’d recommend learning to do it yourself tbh

for raids you should sim, but the mechagon rings are pretty well statted iirc, regardless of their bonus effect so probably worth using

The only thing I can say is :"if it's a swing with a weapon or a shot with a bow/gun without any fancy magical sounding name - it's probably blockable"
"if it's a casted targeted thing that sounds like frost bolt or any magical variation of it - it's potentially reflectable and not blockable"
