To help us assist you better, please upload a screenshot of the HWiNFO64 Summary screen. You can download the software from the following link: https://www.hwinfo.com/download
After downloading, launch the software, select the Summary-only option from the dropdown menu, and then upload a screenshot of your system specifications.
(See example below.)
when did that start happening
well I got my pc monday last week everything was fine until I got driver timeouts so I reinstalled my drivers a few times and it would always work for a few hours until it wouldnt and then I wouldnt even get driver timeouts, my screen would just go black
try performing a clean driver install to 25.12.1 🔽
https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/release-notes/RN-RAD-WIN-25-12-1.html
and follow the steps from the pinned guide in #tech-help
kk
should I still send this?
after youre done installing 25.12.1
ok
amd-software-adrenalin-edition-26.3.1-minimalsetup-260317_web
is this the correct file?
thats the one I get when I click download
do I click the link where it says Systems with RDNA series graphics products: AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition 25.12.1 Driver
i wasnt sure because idk what rdna is
yes
have you tried another cable, GPU port and monitor?
try another cable.
I have a hdmi cable
I dont really have a display port cable rn
so try HDMI?
Also these drivers are telling me "amd software installer detected amd graphics hardware in your system configuration that is not supported."
.
@clever ginkgo do you think that would work for me as well? I have the 26.3.1 installed right now and I'm getting the GPU crashes still
@clever ginkgo my screen went black again💔
make a seperate thread
in event viewer i saw a log called critical saying "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
should I maybe try even older drivers? it happened again for the second time today
Id honestly have you replug your GPU
I did that already
Im just gonna get a new gpu
Or for now try older drivers first like 23.11.1 and if it doesnt work then ill buy a new gpu
also worth checking and trying other cables & displays.
I did all that already too I borrowed a cable from a friend and used a different monitor
