i have 120fps limit at global setting, and tried to setup 240 limit for a single game. But game is still limited to 120.

... Certain games like gacha, older, console exclusives, and random ones have in-game limits to 120 frames specifically due to random reasons. Wuthering waves, bloodborne, and dead by daylight are examples. Ingame settings can also limit your frames beyond what your gpu set it to also, try checking that too. I don't really mess with global caps and set frame limits per game in gpu settings, then turn in game limiters off - if possible. Sometimes games get really quirky and perform better at 160fps or 90fps depending on your gpu, so its better to just test out 60 frames over and under what unlimited gives you in order to get 10+ more fps and sometimes all your frames in the 1% lows if you get stutters in the game. But uh yeah just try seeing if the game engine only handles 120 frames._ .
