If you understand the language [google translate] and can enter and win with or without vpn and give legit address to a person that can ship it to you, they will not care unless it is some agency to ship for fee, afaik.

Yup, and giveaways are really never worldwide, most companies will not touch Russia at the moment or Ukraine or stuff like Sudan and due to some laws another bunch of countries that are not in war currently.

im talking about the instances where it doesnt specify where the giveaway is located and they refuse to send your items to you for that reason

The host can see the general location you're entering from and they can just reroll it if you're not in a certain area

There is almost always a clause allowing the person running the giveaway to modify it. Most of the time if you are disqualified after chosen as a winner the company just ignores any emails from you. I have 4 companies I will never do business with now because they stopped responding to emails after saying I am in Canada. Taking company to court is usually not worth the lawyer cost/court fees. You could drag them through social media bad press like Artesian Builds that could cause them to go bankrupt if the are really bad. About only thing you can really do if a giveaway does not send a prize is complain to gleam/giveaway platform and they might be ban from running another giveaway.

Probably if they draw someone as winner and see that his IP address is not from Germany/Autria, then will just re-roll without telling you anything, so even if you won on theory, you are never going to find that out and cannot complain afterwards too.

Yes same month, that was a few years ago. Not been as lucky since but still win too many games from giveaways, I enter for the grand prize not a game that will sit in my steam library.
