This is fire!! ! How did you makke those AMD fans?
Had them printed on a guys' Etsy shop. Ran me like $60 total because of the multicolor. The plain jane grills ran like $10-15 each, the multi was like $30. Powder coating was done by a friend who ran a coating shop. $300 job for free on a $200 case. 😎
That is rad!
I figured I'd always been an AMD fan since the 90's (Tech Tour, anyone?), that it was time to do a proper Red Team build.
I almost threw that on an EK loop. Almost.
Random night shot as I went to nap this morning. I'll have to record a clip of the lighting actually moving. None of this "Behold! Half your RGB was in the off-cycle!"
amd salesman
did you 3d print that fan grill?
I had someone print it for me as a custom job.
ah never mind scrolled up a bit, very cool concept
We actually discussed the design for a few days. The majority of the grill is printed grey, and the method they used to make the red stand out was a very thin opaque layer of white PLA as the base layer. Helps with diffusion of the lighting a touch.
Here's the grille with white lighting behind it to show off that red layer.
