#rmx corsair psu series can connect with rx 9070
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
i mean rx 9079 is pci 5.0
rmx 1000w has the connect things to connect with the rx 9070
i dont know much about psu
That's the gen of the PCIe pin. 5090 cannot fully utilize 16× 4.0
So 9070 cannot fully utilize 16× 4.0
You can easily guess than if you don't utilize 100% of 4.0, 5.0 won't make any difference. This have kinda nothing to do with PSU
alr so rmx 1000w it will be fine with rx 9070 right
Its overkill
A 750W unit is enough for a 9070XT so yeah.
Depending on price there might be better choice
Here the RMx 1000W ATX3.0 cost more than the NZXT 1200W ATX3.1
Make no sense to get it
i was about to buy be quiet pure 12m 1000w but it costs 165 euros
and i buyed rmx 1000w because is better with 180 euros
i have 32gb ram r9 5900x and rx 9070 it will be fine right?
i got the card but i didnt installed it yet tommorow the psu will come and then i will installed the things
If a 750W unit is enough for a 9070XT a 1000W unit is enough for a 9070 ...
no i mean it will work good with the r9 5900x and rx 9070
?
what…
i mean r9 5900x and rx 9070 will not have performance issue right?
- 1000W is too much for this configuration (unless you know you'll upgrade to bigger components in the future)
- Yes it will work
- It'll be slightly less power efficient than a correctly sized PSU (few percent +-) and more expensive
I cannot find an "rmx 1000w atx 3.0" PSU from Corsair. Is it 3.1?
It's a very good PSU anyway.
tommorow i will install the things
ok good because i was worried about loss many fps because of my cpu and pci 4
