Here is my PC. I have always been an intel guy, but I'm trying to make the switch to AMD. I have all types of notifications of stores to let me know when the 9950x3d is in stock. I decided to go with this cpu bc I game everyday, but I also run a small business on the side and use photoshop a lot. I'm in the process of finding the right motherboard but also confused if I switch do I have to get different ram and buy Windows again?

First of all, amazing pc. For your questions, what is your current cpu and mobo, and no you shouldn’t need to buy windows again
Current cpu is 12th Gen I7-12700K and MSI pro Z690A. I'm driving myself nuts looking for a motherboard that would support 9000 series and has to be white.
Ok so your motherboard is ddr5 ram, so you won’t need new ram. However when I’m looking at your system I only see 1 stick of ram? And also you can get a white mobo for am5 really easily. https://pcpartpicker.com/products/motherboard/#s=41&f=2&Y=8200000,8200062&sort=price&page=1 these should all be good, except that nzxt one. The b650 is all you should need but if you plan on major overlocking and you did say a 9950x3d so I would probably get one of the x870 ones
Choose A Motherboard
First off thanks for helping me out. I'm looking at a B850 edge TI. Love the way it looks but also has good reviews from what I seen so far
What model is that? Never heard of edge TI
