PvE Content
In PvE, you can freely cycle your skills and focus on maximizing interrupts and stack generation.
You can use 3 interrupts in a row, allowing you to solo break a boss if your teammates miss their interrupts.
This combo also helps you build stacks quickly for another follow-up attack.
Interrupt Combo:
F β E β E β Q
(Storm Awkening II β Thunderbolt β Thunderbolt β Lightning Javelin)
F β Q β Q β E
(Storm Awkening II β Lightning Javelin β Lightning Javelin β Thunderbolt)
AoE Setup:
R β T
(Lightning Volley β Thundercloud)
Use R β T to deal massive AoE damage, then immediately transition into the interrupt combo above to break the boss and continue building stacks.
Full Rotation Example:
R β T β F β E β E β Q
(Lightning Volley β Thundercloud β Storm Awkening II β Thunderbolt β Thunderbolt β Lightning Javelin)
R β T β F β Q β Q β E
(Lightning Volley β Thundercloud β Storm Awkening II β Lightning Javelin β Lightning Javelin β Thunderbolt)
This rotation provides strong AoE damage, reliable boss breaking, and fast stack generation.
Passives
-
Maelstrom: Increases your Critical Rate and Critical Damage by 5%.
Because this build benefits heavily from critical hits, it's recommended to invest in additional Crit Rate and Crit Damage through House buffs, Gems, or other sources whenever possible. -
Sacred Strike: Restores mana when triggered, helping with overall MP sustain.
Additionally increases the Critical Rate of Lightning skills by 10%, making your main damage skills more consistent. -
Thunder Crush: Increases the damage of Thunderbolt and Lightning Volley by 10%. Also reduces their MP cost by 5%, allowing for more efficient skill usage during longer fights.
-
Static Blow: Activates whenever you land a critical hit with an Electric skill.
Reduces the cooldown of your Lightning skills by 2 seconds, allowing you to cycle abilities faster and maintain higher overall damage output.
Passive Synergy
These passives work together extremely well. Maelstrom and Sacred Strike increase your critical hit chance, while Static Blow rewards those critical hits by reducing cooldowns. Thunder Crush further boosts the damage and efficiency of your primary Lightning skills, creating a strong cycle of high damage, faster cooldowns, and improved mana management.
PvP Content
For PvP, I don't make many changes to the build. The main difference is replacing Lightning Volley with Galvanic Field.
Why Galvanic Field?
In PvP, there will be situations where you're unable to cast Lightning Volley due to crowd control, pressure from enemies, or being interrupted. Galvanic Field provides much more utility by:
- Granting offensive stat bonuses to nearby allies.
- Providing a barrier/shield for additional survivability.
- Dealing damage over time to enemies within its area.
- Revealing and disrupting stealthed enemies. (Sorry, Spectral Blades players.)
- 3.5s of Silence (Disable skill use) (3.5s if Dense Haze is maxed out)
Because of its utility and reliability, Galvanic Field often provides more value than Lightning Volley in PvP environments.
Recommended Rotation:
R β T β F β E β E β Q
(Galvanic Field β Thundercloud β Storm Awakening II β Thunderbolt β Thunderbolt β Lightning Javelin)
This rotation provides strong burst damage while also giving your team support through Galvanic Field's buffs and protection.
Alternative Option
If you don't enjoy using Lightning Javelin, consider taking Blade Lightning instead. While you lose some ranged pressure, Blade Lightning provides a useful knockback effect that can help create space when you're being heavily focused by enemy players.
blood line ?
I've put everything in ATK marks.
You talking about how important is crit for this build and then running attack not crit bloodline? Why?
I occasionally swap between Mark of Conquest and Mark of Lethality depending on my current stats and gear progression.
If I'm struggling to maintain a comfortable Critical Rate during runs, I'll use Mark of Lethality to help increase consistency. However, if my Critical Rate is already in a good spot, I prefer running Conquest for the additional damage benefits.
At the moment, I've had no issues running mostly Attack-focused stats, as my Critical Rate has been high enough through passives and gear.
How much you doing in Hard Mode with this?
Last I checked when I was 2.8k. With the pure ATK I did 1.28m.
I plan to run again later with better gear. I can post both damage score for Lethality & Conquest difference.
This is the best I did but I will try Conquest to see difference
Is this with or without Galvanic Field from the fellow stormbringer?
without
Love it! I'll make sure to see what my damage is later since I'll have a team.
and I do spam Lightning Voley not Thunderbold like you. Thunderbold looks like the weakes skill. LV do 680% dmg, Lightning Jewelin 1100%, Thunderbold around 480% only
Either one works perfectly. I do Thunderbolt more due for AOE, but Javelin is also really good esp during Hard Boss.
useless benchmark
The bloodline I went is pretty much the same except for level 2, I went with the Mark of Weakness and so far the only one to out damage me is the clone build from Spectral Blade.
How is your house lvl 13? I finished all main and secondary quests and my house is stuck at lvl 12.. :(.. Did I miss something?
Make a second character and complete quest: "Liberate Garbage Coast".
After running Hard Mode, these were my results on damage:
- 1 mil Full ATK Bloodline
- 915k Weakness
- 1.2mil Leth
||without skill gems... just noticed they were removed when I was messing with talent tree
||
Electric Discharge or Thunderclap for lightning build ?
Iβm currently using Thunderbolt, but I havenβt gotten Lightning yet.
Though I feel like Lightning may be better as an overall skill base.
||When I get the weapon, plan to fully test it out.||
I've done a bunch of HM runs at 1.5-1.6m, but it depends a lot on the other players too, running Crit bloodline, Thunderbolt weapon and same talents. 0 pot used
my Thunderbolt often crit for 3k+ sometime 4k+ depending what mob I would assume
yea thats why i said dmg on dungeon is a complete useless benchmark, its not about your build and your damage, its about how everyone in the party is doing, idk why everyone keep trying to use it to compare builds
cuz there is no training dummy or other way to check damage
yea the damage you dealt in a dungeon with a party of random ppl with random skills random gear and random builds with random time not a way to check damage either
solo and look at the time
by now i don't think there are many people doing the bosses anymore
having no training dummy and "other way to check damage" doesnt mean you look at dungeon dmg, dungeon dmg is inside the other way to check damage
also it depends your route, if you do all the skips it's a lot of dmg loss
in aoe
yep like i said, complete useless benchmark
Updated Skill Tree & Weapon.
Skills are still the same.
what gems should I be looking for in this build?
||Sadly all the good gems belong to Wind Route||
My updated Bloodline path as well.
yea I noticed that too lol
