Name Of Suggestion: Add Option to Toggle Between Vanilla and Badlion Main Menu (Menu / UI Suggestion)
Detailed Description Of Suggestion:
This suggestion is about adding a toggle in the Badlion Client that allows users to switch between the custom Badlion main menu and the original vanilla Minecraft menu. This feature is already available in other clients like Feather and would give players more flexibility and control over how their game looks and feels.
Right now, the Badlion menu completely overrides the vanilla one. While that’s great for competitive players who want quick access to mods and features, it creates a problem for those who use custom resource packs that change the main menu. These resource packs can include:
- Custom background images or themes
- Recolored UI elements or button designs
- Animated or modpack-specific menu screens
- Custom music and sounds on the title screen
- Artistic or minimalist redesigns for aesthetics
Since the Badlion menu takes over, all of those enhancements get blocked. This means a lot of visual creativity and effort from pack creators goes unseen — and players who enjoy customization lose out.
How It Would Work:
A simple toggle in the Badlion settings (under UI Settings or General) could be added, called something like:
“Use Vanilla Main Menu” (ON/OFF)
- When ON: The client loads the default Minecraft menu — allowing all custom textures, layouts, and menu mods from resource packs to show up correctly.
- When OFF: The current Badlion menu loads like normal, with all its custom buttons, links, and features.
This setting could even include a tooltip explaining that turning it on will allow full compatibility with custom resource pack menus, but disables the enhanced Badlion menu layout.
Why This Would Benefit Badlion:
- Makes Badlion compatible with resource packs
