current list
heres the elise bot visual, although it does exclude core cards for now
Just do keep in mind that most of the time this deck will need to hold kalec until they have a hand full of burn
Because cards found from spark, spellwing, stellar, and rockskipper wont get his spell damage if used after Kalec
doesnt really matter
i think you always curve him

@tepid epoch can you pin this if possible ill update it with my latest codes
ty
@velvet raven - Kalec seems pretty critical in enabling/delivering lethal - might a Xavius improve consistency whilst not being overly detrimental?
xavius was suggested earlier but i figured vanguard was more consistent
and gives an extremely similar effect for 1 less mana and an extra copy
this also curves into kalec
besides almost any minion we pull from vanguard is a good pull in this deck
you mean there are 2 vanguards re: extra copy yes? Vanguard is significantly worse statted but curving into Kalec is nice , yes. How is it more consistent tho? Do you mean that you get 4 chances to pull Kalec rather than 3?
Will you typically have all the spells ready to go by T4 though? If so, this is going to be a killer deck lol
extra copy = double the chance to draw our tutor
its not meant to be a combo deck
and combos are more top end with khadgar + spellcaster
its a burn deck so we aim to do many small swing turns
somewhere between combo and aggro
ah. gotcha. thx
so you've double the chance of drawing the tutor, but once you do, you've 1/3 less of a chance of finding the card you want. Yeah I'd take that any day.
yep
xavius is still a potential include this is just my list until mage reveals are done
unfortunately theorycrafting is really bad this reveal season because they are doing it in such small batches and theres still a final balance patch before the expac drops
Hey, whilst I have your ear, which deck builder are you using? I've tried fecking HTD, donkey, official, and others and none of the very latest cards e.g. First Flame and Runed Orb, it's really effing annoying!
I particularly didn't appreciate them splitting the DK reveals. I mean, why? Just... why?
i use d0nkey and then run it through the elise bot
make sure you select "2026 standard" on donkey
elise bot has issues with new core cards so i run the list through the official deckbuilder and add the wild versions of the cards

I feel like the egg variant is just a different deck :p
Now you are pointing most of your burn at an egg
like yeah but alot of the cards carry over anyways
just given the state of priest and warr
i think burning your egg is more efficient
ohhh shit i forgot ooze

WOW
๐คฏ
Sorry but where is the duplication happening? Or is wild so fast you need just 1 big beastie?
its a standard deck
we use khadgar to duplicate
umbra is a potential addition
ill think abt it
Forgive my ignorance but doesn't he just double summonings rather than actually summon anything? And the egg doesn't summon itself of course. ๐ค I'm just trying to understand it!
Lol
Sorry but what do you mean by this? We still don't know all the cards or archetypes yet, no? Or do we have enough to go on? Cheers
FWIW I do too. Completely different win con even if the bulk of the cards are the same. Unless the Egg is a secondary win con. Then things get murky lol
they have too much heal and armour gen
the first deck didn't really even have a wincon
I haven't looked at Warrior's cards but I have studied Priest's new cards and fook me, there's some healing/damage there. Some serious, serious sh1t goin on there man
wasn't it just a kill them with burn spells until they're dead?
like yeah but theres no "wincon" card
even frost mage back in the day had alexstraza to get them down to 15 hp
Interesting ๐ค Does a deck need a win con card tho? Like, if you look at handbuff DK for example, there isn't a finisher/closer/critical single card right? You could argue that Puppeteer is the win con card but it isn't like a stand out singular legendary or anything, right?
Anyway, it's not important, I'm just interested in why a particular card is necessary for a deck to be considered a proper deck as it were. Cheers.
handbuff dk had brewmaster to bounce your hero power and also had quilter
I respectfully disagree that they're the stand out, critical win con cards. I believe most would say that it's Puppetteer.
Wwwait. Bounce your hero power!?! ๐ Why TF have I never thought of doing that? So you get a 1/1 frail ghoul in hand. You proceed to buff the living daylights out of it to say a 12/12. But it has Charge... Is that the idea? 12 dmg from hand? That's feckin genius! ๐คฃ

arcane variant
trying to patch up the lack of wincons mage has
azure oathstone swing turn looks more promising then spellcaster.... its also 8 mana though and our best manacheat is a flame lance
not too keen on this build but theres a good chance its better
and unfortunately i see no way of copying sindragosa so we summon 2x on oathstone play
which reduces the lethality of this deck alot
one thing going for this that early sindragosa decks didnt have is timetwisted seer... if we get an arcane based whirlwind effect for mage then this could be a very competitive deck
spellwing is a very obvious cut as it messes up our portal vanguard tutors
its the 30th card, hopefully we get something better
