Seeing people complain (a lot) about the port being shite, controller doesn't work, etc.
I don't know if it's true or not (I never had a whole lot of issues with other Souls' ports), but it wouldn't surprise me if people were having issues. Japanese video games tend to have poor ports/prioritise consoles.

||So, in the northwestern portion of the map the area starts to look all poisoned and toxic and rotting and that kinda stuff, and eventually in that area you might find a huge dragon laying down immobile on a big ol pile of grossness. You can go around to ITS left side and it can't hit you and neither can the smaller dragon buddies guarding it. From there, just slash and slash and slash. Can take a bit of time to get the bleed damage to tick, and regular non bleed hits do practically no damage. The reason bleed does so much damage btw is because it does a set % of hp, so it does like over 10k damage to this dragon lmao.||

So if ya do that you get a one-time reward of a butt ton of runes

I’ve only used it to craft 3 kinds of items

Furlcalling finger remedies, poison heals (forgot the actual name) and rowa rasins

And for being the online play item finger remedies are stupid easy to craft

It took me 21 hours to beat Margit. Not because he was hard, in fact it took me only 3 tries because I was already level 31 when I fought him. I literally did not know where tf he was and did not know how to get into stormveil, so I just wandered around the map doing dungeons and sidequests lol

managed to gain 2 levels and get a prayerbook along with a bunch of other stuff

Finally beat godrick and cleared the river, beat the ancestor whatever

Magic supposed to be op but im doing better as a power stance longswords with a str int build where my int is going into nothing

Y’know when it comes to souls games

I was a big fan of them before I got them

Loved watching people play

But I always thought that I wouldn’t enjoy playing them bc of dying over and over

But then when I finally decided to get my first souls game (ds1) the simple amount of knowledge I already had about the game led to me absolutely demolishing

Except in Blighttown

No amount of foreknowledge prepares you for Blighttown

Hell, I killed O&S on my literal first attempt ever

Don’t think there was a single boss in the game that killed me more than 4 or 5 times

And I will say

Going into a souls game blind

Totally different experience

I think what helps souls games feel less infuriating is that knowledge is a pretty big deciding factor in whether you'll be successful. Death can be often avoided by learning attack patterns and timing, and not a lot of stuff comes down to random chance

But I will say

I have died a hell of a lot more than I did on my first playthrough of ds1

I do love just how OP strength builds were in ds1 tho lol

No need to have a fastroll if nothing can do dangerous damage to you lol

||It's near mohgwyn palace. There is a chicken looking thingy near one of the lost Grace's that you can shoot with an arrow and it will run towards you and fall of the cliff. Each time you do it it gives you about 13k runes. You can use golden pickled fowl foot to increase that to about 17k per run. ||
