estimates range from 6 to 20 hours. you've been playing nms awhile, know how to be cautious in survival mode, strategize so a death won't set you back a pile of hours? you'll be at the lower end of that.

Each time I enter the freighter, I get the splash screen about freighters and info on what to do. It also says construct a base on the freighter.

Should have. Whenever a game crashes it doenst have time to sync save data. Upon starting back up it searches for that data and loads the save.

If the happen chance your cloud doesnt sync up due to a crash like this it may very well revert to the save before your crash. Like when you first started up the game today for example.

They use the box method, which keeps the eggs in with you and the baddies out

Trigger a level 1 alert level and leave the summoner (the triangle shaped one) alive. Don't pick up a gravatino ball, that triggers a level 3 alert.
Destroy the other ones (healers first of course), wait for more sentinels to be summoned, destroy, wait, repeat.
Ideally you'd do this next to a sentinel pillar so that you can disable the sentinels once your done. That way you can use a mining beam on the combat supplies without worrying about hitting a plant or rock in front of a sentinel. Only downside to a sentinel pillar is the hardframe you have to deal with right off the bat.

man. fighting those sentinels was a pain. I only had a javelin and I prefer the boltcutter but I had no ferrite dust so I had to build up my ammo bit by bit.

easier to take out the healer senties with the boltcutter? (forget the exact name)
