I found a planet warping system to system for the anchors. It was marked by a base. So I just got it done.

Even if you die your scans and discoveries stay. So you won't lose track of the outlaw system for that milestone thankfully.

if you are playing fully offline (no internet connectivity at all) then you will get C gear I guess

So besides pulse mode, does the solar ship have any advantages over other types? After using it this whole expediton I just feel like I'm constantly refueling it's launch and hyperdrive. And it has a harder time finding a clear landing.

One expedition helped me learn how to use an extractor. I still haven't setup mining before. Nor done much crafting. It's all been a slow process to get to.

As long as you completed it and claimed everything, you can die without losing everything, but still taking Survival mode into consideration since death differs between Normal vs Survival.

Death in Survival mode results in loss of your current inventory, whether in-ship, or on foot. If you die in your ship, you respawn on the nearest planet, a brief distance from your crashed ship. All inventory items on the ship are lost, and one or more components must be repaired.

So make sure to save often both auto and manual saves, so you revert back to a save if you don't want to lose main inventory. I believe what's in Cargo isn't lost.

it's part of the special mechanics for this expedition, that each pass through should get easier ('rogue-like/lite')

so you put bases down everywhere. every anchor world, every POI (crashed freighter, sentinel pillar, etc)

It's ||a frigate|| technically. You send them out on missions from your freighter once you build the command room

Talk to your npc on the freighter.

nah, i doubt it's profanity issues in the names for these cases. those normally get caught/blocked at the time the user is trying to update the base name. i'm experiencing the issue with base names that showed fine at some point, then they don't. so weird. ty for your input

Damn. New one for me. I had to dig a hole in the ground and wait out a pirate attack. The ships were colliding in the planet atmosphere and shots and rockets were hitting the ground causing the grass to burst into flames. I was minding my own buisness mining when I got struck

you're only required to die once for a milestone. you die as quick as possible upon creating your save to get that out of the way.

death markers as in your grave? yeah, in this expo, when you die, both of your saves are reset. so you lose everything, including milestone progress. you can still quit the game when you die (while RIP text shows on black screen) and you can revert back to where you last saved. so make sure you save often if you wanna try this death workaround.

yeah, for me in-game it also shows 88% for universal loop restoration. but only in bottom right corner. in the Log tab, under Information, the Uniersal Loop Progression Progress bar shows 79% like when we run the !Tier command here. so weird.

you can turn in more than 20 times, and you'll still get memory fragments (and also erbs if it's somnal dust you turn in) but past 20 on one account in one day will not count towards the community progress

so we don't have a bunch of dupers completing the tier in 5 minutes, that sort of thing

@crystal iris are you playing with MP enabled or disabled btw? asking because there are a lot of helpful bases built by other players you can see listed in the Teleporter. and those help speed up completing some of the milestones more safely

yep you can do that too: build a small base, pick a fight, shoot only drones, leave the summoners alone, keep it to wave 1 or 2 only, run in the base when stuff is too hot, etc

Yes, I do my best to do it without mods or dupes. But will take an assist every now and then. Like someone giving a ship, gifting stuff at the anomaly, or even eggs.

I jumped to 5 to take out sentinels, get the sentinel pillar map, then use it on Anchor 4 planet to turn off the sentinels - one less thing to worry about on that nasty planet.
