just dont bother with expedition if they annoy you so much , the things they give you is just cosmetic that you dont really need to do the main game. It reward players who do put in the effort. If you want to stick to one main save, you can get other cosmetic via the Quicksilver system

For going back to main save it's usually recommended to go to the menu -> options -> return to main save

when using that interface to pull in an exsisting save it will ask you to choose what to bring with you... it is a 1 time thing you can't bring in things mid run. So make sure you grab what you want and if you follow a guide online they will often times specify what to bring so you can blitz the missions without having to sit and farm for things in expedition. you gain access to this stuff after phase 1 in expedtion as you can't summon anomoly in phase 1 to claim the stuff

If you started from a New save, it will always be separate from your other saves. However, you can claim the Expedition Rewards from the Quicksilver Vendor in the Anomaly on all saves under the same account.

There was one bug I experienced and wonder if anyone else got it too (on steam, experimental) Whenever I tried summoning my exocraft with the quick menu , there was no valid placement for it no matter where I looked, and the placement hologram was clipping through the ground instead of displaying it on the ground like when you do it with your spaceship.
I just thought I'd mention it in case others had that too.

My understanding is that Experimental can have issues, so you should only switch to it if necessary. Once the Experimental is moved to Public, you should immediately switch back so you are on the same version. Most definitely make a backup of your saves first.

The Experimental branch is where they test patches before releasing them to Public. People active in the Experimental branch are basiclly Beta Testing the patch to make sure they didn't break other things before it goes live.

gotta remove any blood or quicksilver first before switching branches

once switched you will notice the milestone to be darkened, ready to be reselected and it will tell you to craft the blood

sadly, once switched, you save will no longer be compatible until the live branch gets updated

Nope. They are tied to the save that completed them.

You can also teleport to bases that are ahead of your progression from the anomaly or a station. You can't do the bugged portal tasks that way, but you can do the others, like arachnaphobia

hey guys I missed quite a lot of things in the years i haven't played, I did finish the expedition and it gave me a egg , then I found the egg sequencer with many slot of items i could put in , I also googled and found a spreadsheet but im not sure what to make of it?
Should I hatch the egg right away, or alter it in the sequencer? Also what kind of things do these pet do, do they serve an actual purpose other than looking "cool" and following you?

@coarse parrot its honestly a lot harder for you because you haven't played the game as regular yet and learned how most everything works. Most expeditions are setup in a way that you generally have to have a bit of game knowledge to get through them efficiently

The fix in experimental most likely won’t be for nothing,if they take too long,they’ll probably double the time on it or something,either way if it gets fixed before the expedition ends,they’ll likely add another week or 2 to the timer on the expo
