i'm really not sure. ooh, i don't think this many users affected is something to let slide, and should be fixed regardless of a workaround that doesn't involve starting over has been found or not (which we haven't). that said, it is true that even started from a new save, it's possible to complete expedition 16 in a few hours - i'm pretty much more than half way done and only 2h played on this save.

yeah it would give players more chances to get the rewards... alow for players to play alt characters and still go after specific rewards also. Allow for OCD players like myself to be completionists

plus if you really liked a specific expedition you could redo it whenever you felt like. who knows maybe even have people try and speed run them, put down some records

the literal purple jellyfish that spawn as your shield goes down they spawn faster the lower it is

there is even a expedition quest to leave the shield low for 60 seconds while doing that one you should kill 64 of them to complet another quest

Yeah, I created a new character, followed everything to a T; no crafting the blood elixirs until it prompted along with the quicksilver elixirs, turning off multiplayer, etc.

By the time I got to branch 3, usually the mission prompt would show up but it didn't. Definitely an issue.

Scouring through old threads on the original version of the expedition it seems like there were some people having the same issue with any number of the portals, worlds 2 just seems to have broken it for everyone, specifically on phase 3.

You can play the expedition but once you reach phase 3 you won't be able to complete it. But you can do any other milestones that aren't locked behind the phases. Such as finding ancient ruins, fishing anamalous fish etc

Oh, ok, thanks. I'm not sure what you are mentioning for the achievement, I did unlock the portal 3 milestone which allowed me to complete the phase 3 milestone with the rewards.

No, I save edited the file to trigger the milestone so the game thought it was done, then I thought I could hitchhike someones coordinates to the next system, since I couldn't actually use the portal but I could see that even doing so might not progress some of the scripted story events perhaps. And now several people are telling me that nobody can get past. I thought it only happened to some, specially since it has only been reported since the worlds update.

I was looking at a youtube guide from 8 days ago to check the system's name because I also thought they could be from a previous version of the expedition, but the names coincided, I went to breach 4, which would be technically the one to jump to phase 5, but it's on the phase 4 system. The Oglegk III system. You should be able to go there as I did at least, now testing if I can progress the milestones from phase 4 there, and most importantly we'll see if I can travel through the next portal without the same bug happening again. Mind you, just to be clear, travelling through glyphs will not complete the milestone to travel through the breach, my approach was to save edit the game to clear the milestones and then travel manually through glyphs, this is the guide I followed for the save edit, but make sure you back up your save as it can break it if things go wrong:

For issues with breach use, the only thing I can suggest is to:

• disable Multiplayer
• Change active mission to a different one.
• Make sure to only have the correct elixir, rid of any others.
• Visit the Space Station
• Use teleporter TWICE to go to a different Space Station and back
• Get in ship and exit again (restore point)
• Exit game and restart
• Switch back to the correct mission and try again.

In some cases, yes. Whether it fixes the illusive Breach 3, not sure as I am unable to repro. It is our best guess though, without use of external tools

I can honestly only suggest to report it, but I have my doubts for a fix in time. Could try replay, making sure to only craft those elixirs as required when prompted. I really hope for a fix being released, possibly some additional delay ending the expedition 🤞 So make sure HG receive plenty reminders

@versed dune serious advice: multiplayer disabled all the way through, and only ever craft elixir of blood/quicksilver when asked for/told to do so. after phase 1 beyond the boundary milestone, you'll never need to craft the same elixir of blood twice. be patient with the mission scripts, watch the hints - do not try to get ahead of it.

I run to the spot where I died only to see my grave being 100 units in the air. To make matters worse it is in proximity of someone's base. I cannot build there.

Opt out of beta testing, that's how it is for other games at least, you shouldn't lose any save data.

But don't take it from me, I've never played the testing branches on nms, only other games. And I'm currently not playing nms on PC. I like my 65 inch TV for this game.

If you trade the ship let the other person buy it then leave the group and reload your restore you should be able to keep the ship too

Check the space station portal. Sometimes people make a base where there are exotic creatures.

Otherwise you can find an anomolous planet and scan the creatures there.
