If you're doing it inside the expedition it is believed to currently be bugged and they are not dropping in the expedition.

They are dropping in the normal game so you would have to transfer your grubs over to your normal game when you go to finish and then squish them there on a planet that has bugs on it and then you can get the helmets.

But like I said I would just wait.

I'm sure they're meant to be able to be gotten inside the expedition so I imagine they'd be patching this soon

I talked to a few other people and it's believed that the experimental build patches this so I would just wait you've got a whole month and it'll only take you about 10 fights to get this done

Currently it appears you have to do it after you finish I ran about 40 to 50 fights inside the expedition and didn't unlock anything the minute I left the expedition it took me about 10 fights to get every single helmet

My uneducated guess is that it works this way:

Tier 1: Kill 500,000 bugs (number made up)
Tier 2: Kill 1,000,000 bugs
Tier 3: Kill 2,000,000 bugs
Tier 4: Kill 5,000,000 bugs
Tier 5: Kill 10,000,000 bugs

Thus, progressing towards Tier 1 also progresses the later tiers, since it's still moving toward those higher totals overall

If we knew how many total had been killed so far we could project based on percentages how many need to be killed to finish

Think I found a nice painless low stress way to kill 32 sentinels... bumbled into a depot on the first planet. Just killing 2, wandering off, coming back and killing their replacements.

I found a bug unfortunatly. Tried to claim a reward and did not realize my backpack was full. that reward is now bugged where I cannot claim it. I was able to complete the expedition, but it is also stopping me from completing the expedition and converting to a normal save (don't use the Minotaur so do not care about the parts)

Had similar issue. Completed all, claimed everything, rewards are showing up ( and claimed both my exp save and regular save ). Beta still displays msg : inventory full, even though my inventory is not full

Hi guys! I couldn’t find this in the pins: I’ve completed ALL milestones except for the “Purged by Fire” ones. If I were to leave this expedition, will it prevent me from helping to complete this milestone, or will that turn into another “community” goal where it just periodically fills up for everyone on my main save?

I assume we might all get the same rewards when “The Liquidators” meter is filled up by the community? Maybe?

A large amount of horrors also spawn when you land at a structure. You can trigger them again by calling your ship using a nav data at a terminal.
