That is the issue with linking them

Because to finish the dream quests. You need to select an associated rendezvous quest in the menu. You have to be tracking a rendezvous quest currently to trigger the dream sequence

It says in the description for the dream milestones that that's required

But because the rendezvous are completed already, I can no longer actively track them to trigger the dreams

Correct but the timing is very tight and you have to be very careful how you do it. You only get the iron vulture when the expedition is complete and you'll be prompted to return to anomaly to close out expedition. If you do that you miss out forever. You have to return to main save from the options menu and then copy over iron vultures.

To be fair, HG's already gone out of their way for us several times. They didn't have to program special versions of the Nexus and Trace of Metal for us, but they did.

After you’re done with ALL goals, set the iron venture to active ship.
Go to the expedition terminal and switch back to main save, and claim the ship in the Quicksilver Shop.
Then go to the ship copy feature and copy that ship to your main save file.
After that Scrap the two ships for parts, and then keep copying the ship.

Or if that doesn’t work, after you copy the ship, go back to your expedition save file and scrap that Vulture, then send the item back to your main save.

I’m gonna test both methods once switch gets the update

How to get multiple Iron Vulture ship parts
(Works for people that started the expedition through an existing save)

1. Finish the expedition and get the Iron Vulture
2. Set the Iron Vulture as your active ship in the expedition
3. Go back to your main save
   (If you wish to return to the expedition later, DO NOT USE THE TERMINAL, that will end the expedition, use the button in the main menu that says “return to primary save”)
4. Copy the Vulture from the expedition terminal
5. Scrap that ship
6. Repeat step 4 and 5 until you have all the parts you want

That list made one massive omission: Do NOT return to main save through expedition terminal, if you do it closes the expedition and it is gone. For that to work you MUST return to main save from the options menu with the button that says "Return to Primary Save"...this does not close the expedition so you can still import the Iron Vulture to get parts.

To start the autophage quest you must a) finish the main story of the game(the Artemis questline all the way through the end of The Purge), and you must unlocked a dissonant camp and obtained an interceptor ship. After that you can warp with the interceptor and the quest should start.

No, this is for outside of the expedition. I'm not even sure how or if the Artemis questline would even work on the expedition save as even after the expedition ends there are no NPCs anywhere. It might not be possible on the expedition save, I am not sure.

Rai, you need an indium drive for that milestone.

Then when you focus it in your log, it'll show the nearest in the galaxy map.

Oh that's something else entirely...that's the robot fauna. Animals. You set the milestone to active and you keep warping from blue star to blue star until the milestone says there are robotic creatures on a nearby planet...if the milestone still says to go to blue systems when you're in one it means there are none in that system. Only 2 per planet so you'll have to find two planets that have them.

When the milestone says there are robot creatures on a planet nearby you have to land on each planet, exit the ship and then look at the milestone...it will tell you if they are or not on that planet. If they are not you have to keep checking planets/moons in that system until you find the one.

i think you are confusing a new mechanic, where you can start an expedition on already played save, you can transfer some materials and technology you aid you in the expedition

This is why I hugely recommend three things: 1) play expeditions from a main save, 2) have fully kitted ship and multitool on main save, and 3) import said ship and MT into expedition as soon as you reach the anomaly.

It's not a bug. It's a reward that upgrades the class of your ship or MT but if you imported S class you can't upgrade. So land on Anomaly, switch to garbage starting shuttle/MT, and then claim reward.

That takes a minute. No, the carbon management on the starting planet and the deuterium requirement are rather major roadblocks to a lot of people. Very easy to run out of mining beam fuel mining ferrite dust and such for other stuff and be left to punch stuff. You can get a bit of carbon out of rocks but barely any...you kind of have to focus on finding the condensed carbon crystals early to keep you going.

That could have to do with the PC or console you are on. Last gen consoles and weaker PCs can leave the game to struggle and asteroid fields can take a while to load in. On PS5 I found it immediately but on other platforms it could be a struggle.

There aren't many unique items...only those new batteries for the Signal Booster and the returning Writhing Manuscript. But the signal booster is free to use on other saves so there is no reason to import those new batteries...they can't do any good and might confuse the game into requiring them but you can't craft them on other saves so that could be an issue.

Somnal dust you can find on derelict freighters, fragmented qualia you are given a tech to harvest during the living ship mission, and memory fragments you get from traveler graves after you have all glyphs.

The frigate has two primary stats, combat and exploration +15. Overall stats are very solid but not spectacular because the core stat is just +1 so that detracts a bit from its overall potential.
